District Owned/Maintained Fencing

The District owns and maintains approximately (1) 4,700 feet of split rail fencing, (2) 1,125 feet of wood privacy fencing and (3) 8,900 feet of cinder block walls located throughout the Grove at High Point neighborhood (marked on the map to the left). Maintenance of these fence lines represents a significant financial investment and expense to the District. Although the walls and fencing are not currently in need of replacement, the replacement cost of the District's walls and fence lines is estimated to be approximately $926,000.

Homeowners whose lots border District fence lines and walls are responsible for maintaining landscaping, pets and other conditions on their lots in a manner that does not damage or otherwise accelerate the wear and tear of the District's fences. The District will bill the respective homeowners for any costs incurred by the District to repair owner-caused damages to the District's fence lines and walls.

The Board's current fence policy can be accessed and downloaded from the District's document library.
